Just a couple of weeks after his last single, "Problems", Nix Northwest is back with his third single of the year, "You Ain't Got A Chance Boy", which sees him reconnect with his pal ENNY for some laid-back barring.

The pair first met back in 2019, striking up a friendship that ultimately led to Nix producing ENNY's "For South" a year later. Clearly likeminded rap fans operating in similar lanes, a reunion was long overdue.

Speaking on the single Nix said: "I've always had a thing for songs that are happy and beautiful sounding on the surface, but also carry a darker message underneath once you peel back the layers. I think I wanted to explore that sometimes elusive and blurred line between good and evil, and the way which different morals and perceptions that people hold can affect that line."

"You Ain't Got A Chance Boy" plays to both artists' laid-back sides with a crisp, soulful instrumental produced by Nix himself. Judging by his Instagram, there's also a video on the way that features both artists trading lyrics over a box of chicken.

According to a recent Instagram post, this is the final primer single before his album, Xin's Disappearance, is released on March 15. While we wait, dip into "You Ain't Got A Chance Boy" below.
