Maxwell D's iconic 2001 smash "Serious" was a certified anthem when it first dropped and although garage's popularity has ebbed and flowed in the years since (it's rightly enjoying a huge surge in popularity at the minute), "Serious" has stood the test of time.

To mark the upcoming release of Femi Oyeniran and Nicky 'Slim Ting' Walker's upcoming film Against All Odds, the two directors have united the Pay As U Go veteran with some of grime's biggest hitters to revisit the tune for a grime-focused 2020 update.

Novelist, Capo Lee, Tempa T, So Large and Bruza join the UKG legend on this new version, produced by Rude Kid, and they've really outdone themselves. Reaching across the generations, "Serious 2020" unites several eras of the UK underground in glorious harmony.

Fittingly, the visuals (also crafted by Oyeniran and Walker) take us hurtling through some iconic moments in grime and garage, including So Solid Crew's full-crew shot, Tinchy Stryder's RWD cover shoot, and homages to some iconic videos and album covers from Dizzee, Wiley, Kano and more.

Against All Odds is out on November 13 via the recently-revived Channel U (Sky 385).
