Making her first appearance since the Rico Nasty-assisted "Jealous", Mahalia is back to serenade us with her newest track "Whenever You're Ready". Produced by Two Inch Punch, the track also includes a fitting co-write feature from the legendary MNEK.

In her trademark silky vocals, Mahalia offers up a range of intoxicating melodies as she sings about wanting to reignite an old relationship. Astute lovers of vintage R&B will also notice the Montell Jordan classic "Get It On Tonight" tucked into the groove-filled production. Surging with electronic synth licks, bouncy rhythmic patterns and tightly layered backing vocals, "Whenever You're Ready" is another wheel-up worthy track from the singer.

Mahalia is known to channel her romantic experiences and lessons into a musical guide book that contains everything you need—from female empowerment anthems to detaching from past lovers—it's one of the reasons why she's risen to such prominence in the industry.

Speaking on that sample and how she wrote the track with MNEK, Mahalia explains: "I remember the first time hearing Montell Jordan's 'Get It On Tonight' in Save The Last Dance when I was a kid. It's been a song that has made me wanna dance ever since and sampling it in 'Whenever you're ready' is really special to me. I had so much fun writing it with MNEK and Two Inch Punch. I was going through a breakup at the time and really wanted to capture this part of that process. It's my new summer jam. I hope everyone loves it as much as I do!"
