CASISDEAD Arrives With New Synth-Heavy Cut "Traction Control"
July 15, 2022
North London legend CASISDEAD has had a quiet year so far, but that ends today with the release of his brand new single "Traction Control".
Built on a sample of Canadian experimentalist Chris d'Eon, producer Felix Joseph stitches together a sultry blend of shimmering synths and electric drums, a style that isn't too far from CASISDEAD's usual experimental beds. His delivery is understated yet indicative of the kind of battle-scarred, world-weary rhymer he is.
As well as other '80s-inspired moments like "Boys Will Be Boys" and "Park Assist", "Traction Control" is a track taken from the rapper's upcoming third album, which is bound to be an impressive one. Press play below.
