CASisDEAD Calls On La Roux And Com Truise For Ed Skrein-Directed "Park Assist" Visual

Big things are afoot over at DeadCorps.

After three years of silence from CASisDEAD, the ever-mysterious rap legend has returned with new single, "Park Assist", and a couple of surprises. Chief among those surprises is that he's teamed up with producer Com Truise and "In For The Kill" synth pop star La Roux. Oh, and Deadpool and Game Of Thrones actor Ed Skrein directs the video.

An eerie, beautiful and unsettling affair, the track is split evenly between Cas and La Roux; the former delivering a no-hook diatribe for the first half before making way for the latter's siren-like vocals to close the track out. As with a few of his last releases, it contrasts his quick-witted gutter talk with an '80s ghostliness that's as chilling as anything he actually says.

For the visuals, Skrein casts the pair in an eerie cinematic epic that draws on elements of cyberpunk and sci-fi futurism while Cas laments the state of a UK rap scene and gang culture he says has "gone pop now".

Cas has never been one to give too much away on social media, but there are whispers that this is just the beginning of his plans. While we wait with baited breath, hit play below.
