Jme And Skepta Give Us A Drone's-Eye-View Of London In "Nang" Visuals

May 12, 2020

Over the past couple of days, Jme has taken to Twitter to answer fans' questions and throw out some little-known nuggets of behind-the-scenes history, a lot of it (but not all) centering around his new video "Nang" and the work that went into it.

As Jme explained on Twitter when the video dropped, the track was originally produced and vocalled back in 2017, but it wasn't until a year later that Skepta added his verse. He has also since gone on record as saying of everything he's produced, this instrumental is the one he's most proud of.

Directed by Matt Walker — the filmmaker behind previous Grime MC videos "Iss Mad", "You Watch Me", 'This One", "You Know" and "Here" — the video takes us on a drone's-eye-view through a London estate before settling on the Adenuga brothers and the BBK team in an industrial warehouse.

As with the previous Grime MC singles, "Nang" is now on streaming services, but the rest of the album remains only on the physical copies Jme sold in November and the digital versions that were made available for purchase on New Year's Day.
