HERITAGE: Squeeks Carves Out His Legacy With Historic UK Rap Freestyles Like This One For 'Fire In Booth', (2013)

If anyone deserves to capitalise on UK rap's current successes it's Squeeks. A true veteran with over a decade of underground hits to his name, the Islington legend should really be at the head of the table right now.

Sadly, a 10-year stint in prison for armed robbery put that on hold, but it didn't completely stop him. His prolific studio work meant he'd built up a vast bank of music before he went away so his team were able to release a handful of tapes while he was out.

Now that he's got his freedom back, which he celebrated with new drop "How Many Times", what better time to celebrate him? Because away from the studio, Squeeks also has a formidable reputation as the man responsible for some of UK rap's most iconic freestyles of all time.

This one, from all the way back in 2013, stands up as one of his best. A masterclass in energy, storytelling, structure and instinct... let's hope there's a part 3 in the works.
