Alewya Takes Us Round An Eerily Quiet Cityscape In "Channel High" Video

Following swiftly on from the release of her Panther In Mode EP, a glorious celebration of her East African roots and the influence of London's club culture, Alewya's back with one last treat: the visuals for EP highlight "Channel High".

Like much of the EP (with the exception of "Ethopia", which she co-produced with Shy FX and AG), the instrumental is entirely her own. It also shows off more of a rap influence, while still maintaining her knack for rousing melodies.

As for the visual, photographer and director Simon Lane and creative director Lee Trigg join Alewya to follow our protagonist on a ride through an abandoned, possibly apocalyptic city scape, playing up the track's harsher edges while still keeping the focus squarely on the multi-talented West Londoner.
