Zino Vinci Throws Back To Grime's Golden Era With "Romford Road" Visuals
Zino Vinci has dropped the video to "Romford Road". The East Londoner channels the peak grime era with this one: from the jumpy beat to Vinci's skippy, flow the whole track feels like a throwback to the 2000s without coming off as dated or stale. Zino has made his name off his sharp flow and cutting lyrics, so it makes sense that he'd tear up a grime beat the way he does on "Romford Road".
The Jay Aarons-directed video only furthers the grime aesthetic through its grainy resolution, the basic animations in the corners and Zino's roadside setting. Add the fact that the audio of this track is only available on the CD version of Zino's recent project Filthy and Disgusting, and there can't be any doubt that Zino has hit this one top bins.
