Yussef Dayes has revealed "The Light", the final single before the release of his highly-anticipated album, Black Classical Music, which is due on September 8.

"The Light" is expansive in scope, full of emotion and feeling, conveyed through Dayes' drum work, Charlie Stacey on the keys, Rocco Palladino on the bass, and Miles James on the guitar. Giving the track a personal connection, Bahia Dayes, Yussef's young daughter, is the sole voice and featured artist on the track, adding a purity to proceedings with her positive affirmations.

As with all Yussef Dayes songs, "The Light" ebbs and flows, moving through phases of tranquility then breaking open into a spell of high tension, keeping you captivated from beginning to end.
