Yazmin Lacey Shares Heady New Bubbler "Summer Haze"
The worst of the heatwave has just about loosened its grip on us and it's starting to actually feel pleasant to be alive. Perfect time, then, for Yazmin Lacey's new single, "Summer Haze".
A literal soundtrack to the unmatched feeling of a new romance in London in the summer when it's not too hot and sticky, but the days are long and spirits are high. It's quite literally intoxicating and Lacey captures that beautifully with an assist from hitmaker Fraser T. Smith whose saxophones and tropical instrumentation are just as infectious.
It's the latest in a run of uplifting breezy gems from Yazmin Lacey this year that includes "Better Days" and "Sweetest Season". It also comes off the back of a run of big shows, including Marseille Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, and a DJ set at Harry Styles' Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre.
