Wretch 32 Is A Voice For The People On New EP 'Moments Of Silence'

June 06, 2024

Wretch 32 makes a welcome return to releasing music with EP, Moments Of Silence. It's a brief but typically punchy project from the rap veteran, with the whole EP clocking in just short of six minutes.

He's always been one of the best at commenting on social issues, and in times like these there's plenty to comment on, so it's no surprise that Wretch has stepped out to make his first heard again.

"3 Minute Silence (Dear Boris)" is particularly poignant, with the Tottenham legend speaking for the people as he directs his anger towards an out-of-touch and greedy political class.

In the last few years, Wretch has only made infrequent appearances on tracks, most notably giving features to Avelino, Ghetts, Youngs Teflon and Nines. Here's hoping that we get more solo music from him as well.
