Drill innovator V9 uncovers his 15-track mixtape, Murk With A Mouth, featuring appearances from Ghetts, Billy Billions, Mazza, Jimmy and ZNZE.

Opener "Murk With A Mouth (Intro)" sets the tone for the level of lyrical expertise, which leads nicely to the previously released "Hole In One". Things get personal on this track as V9 details his run-ins with conflict before Billy Billions' sweet melodies adds a new layer of life to the track.

Further on in the project, V9 is joined by Ghetts for a quick-fire exchange of bars on "Shoulda Woulda Coulda". Another spotlight moment is the slow-paced Mazza-assisted "Spaceship", which fuses electronic textures with the traditional drill beat, further separating V9 from the competition.

Elsewhere, tracks like "Change", "(MGW) No Pen No Pencil" and "Arigato" force us to pay attention to V9's storytelling abilities as he packs various narratives into the project to give us an insight into who he really is.

The new project follows on from his Homerton Sensei and Yūdokuna mixtapes, where he documented the harsh realities of some of the things he's experienced, and features production from AV, Gotcha, Ghosty, Morts, Hargo, M6, Zei Beatz, Swidom, Tefoma, Silias Wav, Two Inch Punch, TN 490, R14, N1, Piso FLP, prodbyjackiee, PULP_K, Dizzy, Mobzeatz, and GX.
