Unknown T Sets The Record Straight On Two-Part 'Who Said Drill's Dead?'

June 13, 2022

For his new release Who Said Drill's Dead?, Unknown T steps to the mic to set the record straight and let people know that despite the rumours, drill is very much alive and well.

Who Said Drill's Dead? is a two-part freestyle that jumpstarts with the punchy "Just Landed". Fawaz Thompson strings together an engaging concept for the visuals, which is partially based in the world of Top Boy. In it, we see Ashley Walter's character Dushane return to the screen for another tense on-screen moment as Unknown T hurls his bars at him. Once Unknown T has said his piece, we smoothly transition from the notorious Top Boy cafe to a black-and-white stairwell in a skyrise estate for the second part, titled "Batty & Bench".

If there really was any doubt about drill's vitality, consider it quashed.
