UD Music Is Uplifting Young Talent With New Elevator Membership Programme

February 14, 2024

UD Music and its Talent House creative hub are launching a brand new initiative, the Elevator Membership Programme, to offer tools and support for the next generation of talent.

The scheme is available to anyone with a serious interest in the wider music business too, including producers, DJs, podcasters, photographers, videographers, journalists, and graphic designers, as well as musicians, instrumentalists, and unsigned artists.

There will be 50 spots open to young creatives, made possible by UD Music's partnership with Sony Music and their UK Social Justice Fund. To be eligible, you have to meet certain criteria specific to your field of interest, as well as being an 18-25-year-old based in London, earning equal to or less than London Living Wage, and working in Black music culture.

If selected, you'll receive access to the UD Talent House, where you'll have free access to the £4.1m state-of-the-art facility, which includes fully-equipped recording studios and a co-working space as well as a series of networking, showcasing and training events (including premium access to Industry Takeover events), and one-to-one business support from industry experts over a 12-month period.

Deadline for applications is March 4.

Check the criteria on UD's website and get your application in now.
