Treble Clef Calls On Elf And DeeJillz For Rap-Garage Hybrid "Bout Dis"

Treble Clef Calls On Elf And DeeJillz For Rap-Garage Hybrid "Bout Dis"

August 25, 2021

Roughly a year ago photographer Alistair Uhlig posted a few photos to his Instagram that appeared to show The Square alumni Elf and DeeJillz having a picnic in Blackheath. As it turns out, the photos were taken during the shoot of the video for "Bout Dis", their collaboration with veteran producer Treble Clef.

The new track sees the "Ghetto Kyote" producer tap into some garage influences for the funky beat, providing a head-bopping soundscape for rappers Elf and DeeJillz to spit over. Centred on a catchy hook that will have listeners repeating after one listen, the pair bounce back and forth with nothing but good vibes for us to soak up. Constantly switching up their flow, this is a collaboration we never knew we needed.

The accompanying video captures the rappers and their crew kicking back at a park motive where they deliver their bars with excitement spread across their faces. Catch a vibe and get stuck into "Bout Dis" below.
