Tia Carys Can't Be Brought Down In Playful "Trouble Train" Visuals

December 21, 2020

Tia Carys has had quite a year. Although she dropped her debut single, 'English x Ghana" last year, it was 2020 that she really put her stamp on the world.

She kicked off in January with "Figure Me Out", a thunderclap of mile-a-minute rhymes atop a flute-oriented instrumental with plenty of bass. Two more singles quickly followed — "Intro" and "Reflect In Mirrors" — with an appearance on Fraser T. Smith's 12 Questions album along the way, and then she capped it all off with her debut EP, EnRoot, in October.

Now she's back with visuals for another single from the EP, "Trouble Train". A little lighter than some of the other cuts, "Trouble Train" shows off Tia's more playful side with tales of her upbringing mixed in with cheeky dismissals of her critics. In a similar vein, the visuals from director Otis Dominique give us a look at her family life before she leads us outside to watch her cut loose with her friends.

Hit play on the lively new visuals below.
