The Nail-Biting Trailer For Rapman's Intense Feature Film 'Blue Story' Has Arrived

September 04, 2019

It was only last year that Rapman dropped the now legendary three-part "Shiro's Story" on us, but it didn't take long for the world to sit up and take notice, ultimately landing the rapper and filmmaker a deal to make a feature length film.

Blue Story, which is an adaptation of a trilogy of short films Rapman created back several years ago, takes an uncompromising look at the realities of gang warfare in London, told through two friends who find themselves on opposite sides of a turf war. As with "Shiro's Story", Rapman sets the scene in the trailer with some equally honest lyrics that tell the audience not to expect justification or condemnation, telling us: I'm not trying to justify but I'm about to show you what these young boys are fighting for.

All three parts of "Shiro's Story" were runaway successes (each clocking up millions of views in a matter of hours), but with Blue Story's bigger budget and support from Paramount Pictures UK and the BBC, Blue Story looks set to find even more success when it hits screens November 22.
