After a brief break to regroup and recharge their batteries, it's been revealed that the MOBO Awards will be returning to the capital in 2020 for a massive homecoming show at the SSE Arena in Wembley.

The last award show dedicated to Music Of Black Origin took place in 2017 in Leeds, and gave us performances from the likes of Ray BLK and Stormzy, who took home three awards, and Stateside superstar Cardi B.

The MOBO awards revealed the news to their followers on social media, with the award show's founder Kanya King CBE commenting on the upcoming show:

"We felt empowered to bring MOBO back to Brent to coincide with the borough's Year Of Culture because this is where our fight to challenge the status quo to create a level playing field started. We are returning with even more determination and energy to support and boost our culture wherever we can. 2020 will see many positive changes that will impact more and more talented young people — very proud to be back and to help ensure that the younger generation will also dare to dream."

The MOBO Awards 2020 will take place on November 12.
