The Last Skeptik Adjusts His Priorities In Medieval "You Kinda Grate On Me" Visuals

September 06, 2021

No one's had a perfect time of it lately, that goes without saying, and regardless of how we've handled the last couple of years, none of us are the same as we were in early 2020. One thing The Last Skeptik hopes we can all take from the experience, is to look after ourselves a bit better.

On his new single, "You Kinda Grate On Me", which he delivers with the usual bone-dry humour, we see him recalibrating his priorities and generally freeing himself of fake friends and industry nonsense. It may sound jaded, but really it's all about taking a bit more care of yourself and not getting swept up in the superficial silliness.

True to form, the new track also comes with some fun visuals, directed by Mykea Perry, that cast Skeptik as his own knight in shining armour, stomping through the forest and cutting down anyone who stands in his way.

The new track is lifted from his new album, which drops November 5. There aren't too many details just yet, but he'll be celebrating the release at The Old Church in Stoke Newington on November 11.
