The Last Skeptik Takes Us On A Drive Through The "Suburbs"

July 07, 2021

Rising up from North London, rapper and producer The Last Skeptik has been busy creating his own potent blend of lo-fi hip-hop beats for years now, notching up an incredible portfolio of production credits for artists like Kojey Radical, Giggs and The Manor, and dominating festival stages from Coachella and Glastonbury to clubs in Japan. Back on a solo tip, he continues his trail of success with his latest release, "Suburbs".

Over intricately-looped, hazy synth melodies and crashing percussion, The Last Skeptik lays out his alluring flow that draws us into his universe painted with insightful bars and storytelling. "Suburbs" follows on from the nostalgic "Memories Of The Rave", where he relives club nights with friends, and "Friend And Enemy", which takes a more ominous tone on the production. Having also scored for commercials, film and theatre, The Last Skeptik continues to enter new spaces with his boundless creativity.

Take in "Suburbs" below.
