Terri Walker is back with "Finally Over You", her first since last year's "No Good Man".

The new song deals with the weight that's lifted when you're finally able to let go of the past and move forward, and that sense of new beginnings extends right through every part of the track—it even feels as if it applies to Terri as an artist.

Production comes from Children Of Zeus who've built her a rich but lightly-arranged neo-soul instrumental—you can practically feel the fresh air and the springtime sense of newness rushing through it all. Terri's evolved more than most as a musician in her career, but with this style, she sounds more at home than ever.

Hinting at a new project that could be coming our way this year, Terri shares: "'Finally Over You' sets the tone for this next offering. "[I have] arrived at my destination to reap the rewards of my labour."
