East London's own tendai has released the video for "want u back". The track is taken from three.one, the first part of a triptych of releases. Co-produced by Felix Joseph, AoD and tendai himself, "want u back" furthers his genre-bending and future-focused approach to making music, something we're told we can expect a lot more of in the rest of the series.

Led by a gentle guitar riff, the 0207 Def Jam signee lyrics are as stripped back and emotive as the instrumental. The video is captured in a single shot—just him and his co-producer vibing to the track in the studio.

tendai has been heralded for his progressive approach, particularly his boundary-less approach he calls "raido". Although he hasn't yet built a sizable catalogue yet, his talent has brought him recognition from the Ivor Novellos, even bagging him a nomination for the Rising Star Award.
