Irish duo Tebi Rex have been working tirelessly since they first started putting out music back in 2017. In the years since they've become an intriguing prospect in Ireland's thriving hip-hop scene, stirring their own brand of surrealism and irreverent humour into the mix in a way that's immediately likeable.

Their latest drop, "Hanging With Trees", sees them partner with Derry-based singer-songwriter ROE, who complements their homespun delivery well, amplifying their laid-back, soulful side. There's a lot going on with the track — which at times swings from low-slung rap to an indie-ish melody with the occasional burst of maximalist electronics — and it's a thrill from start to finish.

Delivered with a touch of irreverent humour, the pair describe the track as "a song about a talking tree who gives really good advice," before adding, "she can be a bit blunt though..."
