Tallulah Explores Her Synesthesia On Deeply Personal Debut 'Purple' EP

May 29, 2019

Hailing from Peckham, singer-songwriter Tallulah has unveiled her debut three-track Purple EP. The EP draws on her colour synesthesia (a condition in which the perception of moods, words, colours, smells, etc. are merged or overlapped) and is named after the colour which she describes as "uncertainty and wonder", expanding on that idea saying, "I think uncertainty can be an exciting thing; a nervous feeling, a lonely feeling and a liberating feeling."

The three tracks explore three different relationships from her perspective with her soul-pop sound shining through on each. With an upcoming short film in the works to accompany the project — as well as a zine filled with lyrics, collages and behind the scenes photographs —Tallulah has pulled out all the stops to make her debut EP as impactful and meaningful as she can.
