Stormzy Reveals Details Of New Album 'Heavy Is The Head'

November 20, 2019

Stormzy has surprised fans with the artwork, tracklist and release date for his upcoming album, Heavy Is The Head.

The MC made the announcement after already teasing fans when the letters H.I.T.H began to spontaneously appear on buildings around London. Fans would later find out that the letters stood for Heavy Is The Head, a reference to a line in Shakespeare's Henry IV Part 2.

The tracklist for the album was also revealed — and it's got the entire internet speculating on what the album might sound like. Features come from many of your favourite artists, including Headie One, Aitch, Ed Sheeran, Burna Boy, H.E.R, Tiana Major9 and YEBBA. Meanwhile, production comes from regular collaborator Fraser T. Smith as well as T-Minus, Fred Gibson and more.

The album is set to be released on Dec. 13, and there's no doubt about it: after the General Election, it's about to get #Merky.
