Stormzy Reminds Us Of His Talents With Mind-Blowing Visual For "Sounds Of The Skeng"

September 09, 2019

Regardless of his private life being all over the headlines these past weeks, Stormzy reminds us all that his talent is what really deserves all the attention with his new video for "Sounds Of The Skeng" produced by Sir Spyro. The video for Stormzy's latest tune was directed by Henry Schofield with out-of-this-world editing and videography, but it was the appearance of the 26-year-old emcee's two nephews that really had fans going.

"Sounds Of The Skeng" is very much a different tone compared to Stormzy's recent releases "Vossi Bop" and his collab with Ed Sheeran, "Take Me Back To London"; it shows us a very cut-throat version of the star as he takes the opportunity to address UK artists he feels are fake and constantly beg for the approval of American artists — all while his fantastic flow slaughters a head-bopping riddim from Sir Spyro.
