South London-Raised Cashh Marks His Return To The UK With Kenny Allstar Interview

January 16, 2020

Rapper Cashh, formerly known as Cashtastic, was infuriatingly removed from the UK more than five years ago and sent back to Jamaica with no clear reasoning. Thankfully, he has now finally been granted the permission to come back and remain in the UK.

The artist, who is signed to Universal Records, has now opened up about the experience in a two-part interview with DJ and "voice of the streets" Kenny Allstar.

In the interview, Cashh sits down with Kenny wearing a hoodie labelled with the word 'immigrant'. They touch on various different topics, ranging from the rapper's come-up to how he's influenced the next generation of UK rappers.

The rapper, who moved to South London from Jamaica at the age of 16 to live with his mother, also opens up about not letting the deportation debacle get in the way of his music.

Updated on January 23. The third part of the interview has now landed.
