South-East London talent Solomon Majestic has returned with his brand-new single, "Royal".

A mainstay in rap and R&B under his previous alias, Rossi Riko, he shifted gears in 2022 and returned as Solomon Majestic with a new sound, a heavy-hitting album (The Renaissance), and a high-end clothing line called Savant Vampiro.

Inspired by his fascination with Astrology and mysticism, the Solomon Majestic alias, in fact, comes from the Latin word for sun (Sol), the Sanskrit word for sun (Om), and the ancient Egyptian name for Heliopolis aka the "City of the Sun" (On).

Now, after a brief hiatus, "Royal" changes tack from the tougher rap sound of previous Solomon Majestic and delves into a smoother sound with an Auto-Tune lick. The new track is the first of the new era, signalling his upcoming album, The Dark Horse. For the "Royal" video, however, Majestic keeps things relatively straightforward, with a stripped-back but dramatic treatment directed by himself and shot by Jay.f36.
