Family members along with the grime community were recently shaken by the unfortunate passing of Ruff Sqwad MC, DJ and producer DJ Scholar. Seeing that he gets the send off he deserves, veterans So Large and Roachee have joined forces on the track "Rest Up Scholar" to reflect on his impact and all the lives he touched within the community.

In true grime fashion we are met with explosive bass, frantic drum patterns and a funky vocal sample while both rappers spit about his fruitful journey as a DJ and grime icon. The accompanying visuals, directed by 31501, are flooded with throwback images and archive footage of Scholar living it up with close friends and family over the years—a fitting celebration of a life well lived.
