Nottingham rhymer Snowy has had a jam-packed 2022 so far, having released a banging string of tracks in "Showers", "On It" with NOTION, "Answer" with UKG producer Gemi, and "Deep" with Frost on production. For his fifth release of the year, he links up with Frost once again to deliver some light-hearted truths on "Lovey Dovey".

Snowy laces the glitchy backdrop about wanting to kick back and enjoy being in love, while not being ready to sacrifice his time doing anything other than getting to the money. Over the jumpy vocal samples and woozy effects, he says on a voicemail, "We're not rich enough to be in love just yet," lightly letting his lover know where his priorities lie.
