slowthai yesterday appeared in court, having been charged with two counts of rape.

Further details of the charges are that the artist, full name Tyron Frampton, is charged with oral and vaginal penetrative sex of the same woman without her consent, alleged to have happened in Oxford in September of 2021.

Appearing at the Oxfordshire Magistrates Court, slowthai gave his name, date of birth and address and has been released on bail, with a further hearing scheduled for Oxford Crown Court next month.
