SL Stops Off In "Berlin" To Take Stock Of His Journey So Far

September 05, 2022

Croydon-raised rapper SL has delivered a couple of hard verses this year on tracks like "Nice & Good" with Knucks, "Simple" with Lancey Foux and Stay Flee Get Lizzy, and a stand-out contribution to NATIVE Sound System's NATIVEWORLD album, but with his latest drop "Berlin" he steps back for a moment to reflect on his journey so far.

Produced by Okan Toktamis, Matthias Ringleb and Maximilian Mersin Mayer, it's a laid-back and relaxing cut from SL. Here he uses a melody-driven style to deliver a string of reassuring messages.

Matching that energy, the visuals seem to show SL taking a break from it all on a trip to Berlin for a light shopping spree before hitting the road again for a few daytime shows, connecting with his fanbase overseas along the way.

Another shining example of his unique approach to rhyming, press play on "Berlin" below.
