Shumba Maasai Calls On Orphgang's Tinyman, Intalekt And Afronaut Zu For "AK Sutt'in" Remix

Returning two his hazy, drill-leaning 2018 cut "AK Sutt'in", Zimbabwean London-based MC Shumba Maasai is back with a stacked remix featuring Tinyman, Intalekt, Afronaut Zu and backing vocals from West London singer JaJa Kisses — and he's called on director Abdullism and White Crayon to put together a wild set of visuals to go with it.

Where the original combined MNIGLD's drill-inspired beats with airy synth melodies, the remix amps up the energy considerably with some rowdy high octane bars from each of the Orphgang rhymers as they send shots at what they call sonic paupers and those with mind blocked like closed borders, while paying homage to late Nigerian funk musician William Onyeabor.

White Crayon's visuals do an impressive job of capturing that boundless energy on the small screen, centring them around a recent live show and spicing it up further with some slick and surreal effects.
