Kano, Stormzy And Michael Kiwanuka Included On Mercury Prize 2020 Shortlist

The shortlist for the 2020 Mercury Music Prize has been announced. The prize acknowledges the best British album released between July 20, 2019, and July 17, 2020, and there are some notable names with some amazing projects on this year's shortlist.

Kano has been nominated for his monumental Hoodies All Summer album and Stormzy also earned himself a nomination for his sophomore album, Heavy Is The Head. Michael Kiwanuka and Moses Boyd earned their respective nominations for Kiwanuka and Dark Matter.

Last year's prize was won by Dave for his Psychodrama LP and, pending government guidelines, this year's ceremony will be held at London's Hammersmith Apollo on September 10.
