Many artists have tested the waters of R&Drill, but there's no one doing it quite like Shaé Universe. Easing us into her crystalline sound of angelic melodies over rugged drill production, Shaé has finally uncovered her debut EP titled Unorthodox.

For a little over 20 minutes we are wrapped up in Shaé's literal universe of delicate harmonies and lyrics that flow straight from her heart. Through skillful vocal performances, Shaé paints evocative images as we navigate the project's narrative of growth and self-love. Previously released cuts like "You Lose", "Pushin", "111", "Royalty" featuring Kojey Radical, and most recently the Enny-assisted "Sit Back" all feature on the project as well as newer offerings "Wicked Ways" and "Shineee" alongside Nigerian Afro-soul artist Tay Iwar.

Speaking on Unorthodox, Shaé briefly shares: "This EP is so far from everything I imagined my first ever debut EP to be, but in a wonderfully refreshing way. I'm so excited to see what it does in the world!"
