Flooded with an intricate display of layered harmonies and backing vocals, Shaé's angelic tone soars over the booming 808s with ease. "Pushin'" is a personal reflection on past relationships, where she urges herself to "keep it pushin", despite the shortcomings.

Speaking on the new track, she shares: "Pushin'" was written with ease, it flowed so naturally because it was a subconscious premonition of certain relationships that would come to an end in my life.
