Shaé Universe has had a massive few years, steadily building her empire with an increasingly impressive catalogue. 2022 looks to be her biggest year of all though, because she's just released a highly anticipated collaboration with ENNY called "Sit Back". Not only that, but the new single comes with the announcement that she'll soon be releasing her debut EP, Unorthodox.

"Sit Back" was produced by Sons Of Sonix and plays to Shaé's more laid-back, R&B and neo-soul sides with its swirling synths and breathy vocal runs. A calming elixir, it's a sorely-needed piece about the growing need for just a minute's rest in the midst of such a chaotic world.

It's testament to ENNY's versatility that she's made a point of stepping into so many different spaces since the Under Twenty Five EP landed. She's toyed with darker rap sounds on "Bernie Mac" with Odeal, Afroswing grooves with Boj, and now this collab with Shaé Universe puts her in a different element again.

Speaking on "Sit Back", Shaé comments: "This song is for all my soft life advocates. I'm tired of feeling like only through struggle can I earn and appreciate peace. Peace all year long is the new vibe and this song is here to set the tone."

ENNY adds: "As soon as I was sent the track I knew I had to be on it. Shaé is doing something special."
