The self-professed Godson of Grime, Sakilla is back with another album Godson 1.8, following on from the October release of recent single "No More Covid 19". Featuring a plethora of the industrial grime sounds and bass-laden beats we know and love, Saskilla takes us back to the mid-noughties to remind us what grime can be. Saskilla is a household name and a grime titan in his own right, spraying clash-ready bars throughout in a style that instantly stirs up memories of sweaty nights in Ace Hotel.

As an additional treat, Saskilla enlists grime legends Wiley, Devilman, Scrufizzer and Crazy Titch who all tear up the tape in powerful measure. Elsewhere, he's also brought in newer names like Kamakaze, Ransom FA, Astroid Boys and Eyez to bridge the generational gap.

Speaking on the album release, Saskilla says, "The scene needed this album. We needed to remember what REAL GRIME actually is. Not the sh*t on the commercial radio... THANK ME LATER."
