Since his debut album Process, Sampha has cut an elusive figure, infrequently making all-too-brief appearances on projects for artists like Ragz Originale, Headie One and SBTRKT. So there was a collective cheer amongst music fans when he announced the title and release date of his second album.

Alongside the details about the album, Sampha released "Only", the second track from the upcoming album. Co-produced by Sampha and El Guincho, it's a more uptempo offering than we usually get from Sampha and he sounds optimistic and defiant. Pondering self-esteem and careerism, his pen is as poetic and free as ever.

On Instagram, Sampha announced that his second album will be named LAHAI, titled after his late grandfather, and will be released on October 20, five and a half years since his powerful and emotional debut, Process.
