Sainté Announces Debut Mixtape, 'Still Local', With "Tea Over Henny" Video

January 26, 2024

2024 is set to be a big year for Sainté . He's just announced the release of his debut mixtape and to celebrate, he's shared the "Tea Over Henny'' video.

The glossy instrumental comes via Brad Baker and RJ who take that smooth Sainté sound to new levels by somehow channelling his typical nonchalance into the beat. On the hook he states that he's "feeling like ys.Sainté in 2020" but this drop puts on show his evolution on full display. Mixing audacious flexes with atypical brags, showing his individuality, he's on peak performance. After all, who all would have their "city flexing tea instead of henny"?

Speaking on the track, Sainte shares: "I feel like it's one of those where the track, the production and the delivery is literally my personality. It's been two years since I started taking music seriously, and I'm realising that whilst we're young and just getting started, it's too much to throw away: for a little fun on a night out, for lust, or anybody that ain't trying to build with us or build for themselves. "I got my city flexing tea instead of Henny!". You just gotta be yourself and know what type of time YOU ARE ON.''

Sainté has also announced his debut mixtape, Still Local, due for release on March 22. The title, we're told, is a reminder that despite the success he's enjoyed since "Champagne Shots" blew up, Sainté is still putting on for his city. While we wait for the tape, check out the stylish "Tea Over Henny" video below.
