Leicester Rapper Sainté Calls On Miraa May For Silky "No Love"
For the past year or two, Leicester's Sainté has been making a name as a promising rap prospect with a wide-ranging sound and a versatile songwriting style. Still inviting praise for last year's Local MVP EP, he's back with Miraa May in the visuals for his new single, "No Love", a tale of protecting his heart from fake love and those with ill intentions.
There's a palpable chemistry between the two artists whose contrasting styles quickly find common ground. Backed by an Afrobeats-style rhythm from producer Brad Baker, Miraa elevates the track with her warming presence and silky vocal ad libs. Melding together their respective sound and songwriting abilities, they create a summer-ready mix of Afroswing and rap with a dash of pop grandeur.
Hit play Above Ground's visuals to follow them as they manoeuvre seamlessly from packed-out party to a sweeping theatre stage and back again.
