Emerging singer-songwriter Safiyyah has teamed up with Shepherd's Bush rapper Finn Foxell for a new single entitled "Mornings".

The West Londoner's sound transcends genres as she uses her music to reflect on the world around her while reminiscing on her past, highlighting both her musical and personal development. On "Mornings", Safiyyah's soothing voice allows us to tap into her vulnerable side as she gives her straight-talking take on society. Meanwhile, Finn Foxell's deep vocals complement the track perfectly as he harmonises with Safiyyah before laying down a slick rap verse.

Speaking on her thoughts behind the song, Safiyyah explained: "'Mornings' is about everyday life, reminiscing back to when you were at school, young and stress-free. It seems that, increasingly, culture dictates that we wake up and worry about things like how many followers or likes we have. 'Mornings' plays on the notion that nowadays we wake up and rather than feeling refreshed and inspired, perhaps we're already feeling down and out."
