Rimzee Keeps It Authentic On 'Upper Clapton Dream 2' Cut "Interlude"

Rimzee Keeps It Authentic On 'Upper Clapton Dream 2' Cut "Interlude"

December 09, 2020

Having returned to music with a new lease on life and a new mixtape, Rimzee is back to make another mark on the scene with the visuals for "Interlude".

Here, the Hackney rapper gives us plenty of food for thought with touching, self-examining lyricism that focuses on the trials and tribulations of life. The sample at the track's core drives its introspective tone, which is reinforced by the Blackbeard-directed visuals that stitch together a patchwork of anecdotal snapshots to put the focus on the authentic, no-frills realness of Rimzee.

The solemn new offering acts as the midway point in Rimzee's recent twelve-track tape, Upper Clapton Dream 2, which arrived a full eight years after he supposedly closed the door on rap with part 1. The new project comes with unapologetic truths and support from some heavy-hitting features from Potter Payper, M24, Snap Capone, WSTRN's Haile and more.
