Over the last few years, Rapman has gained a reputation for his storytelling prowess and the messages he incorporates into his music.

His latest, "Shiro's Story", is no different, telling a captivating tale of love and loss as Shiro (played by Joivan Wade) gets involved in some shady business to provide for his family with support from his best friend Kyle (played by Percelle Ascot). Filmed by Aukes Media, he does the wrong thing for the right reasons in a bid to move his family out of London and give them a better life. However, things don't go according to plan, leading to a gripping finale.

Although the two actors, as well as the supporting cast, give accomplished performances, it's Rapman who shines through the moving the story—with his well-put-together rhymes—proving once more why he's one of the underrated gems in our scene.
