R.A Looks To The Future On Monumental New Project 'Jim Brown'

January 13, 2020

Since returning to the music game a couple of years, there's no denying R.A hit the ground running. Clearly spending much of his time in the studio, the South London hero has barely paused for breath between drops. All of which feels as if it's been leading up to this very moment, the release of his stellar new project Jim Brown.

Last year we were treated to the Silencer-produced "Pistol", but the pair have already reunited on "Grateful", an album extract and highlight that dropped at the same time as the album. The rest of the guest spots on the album come from Ghetts, Fredo, Snap Capone, Ard Adz, Frass and Denden.

At least two of the tracks on the album — "Struggle" and "Last Chance" — will already sound familiar to Real Artillery fans after he dropped them in the latter part of 2019, but the rest of the 17-track opus is almost entirely unheard.

At times tapping into his grimey roots but mostly leaning into the gruff rap sound he's perfected in recent years, Jim Brown feels like his whole career has been leading to this point, nodding to his past but mostly looking forward. Make the most of R.A's astonishing work ethic and hit play below.
