R.A.E Pays Homage To The '90s With All-Too-Relatable "Damn Jermaine"

March 25, 2019

After her debut song, "Oi Son", made waves across social media last month, R.A.E is back with her '90s hip-hop-inspired style for her latest single "Damn Jermaine", in which she expresses her feelings of having to end things with a boyfriend due to his infidelity with Elaine.

While she's actually from South East London, R.A.E manages to merge her accent with the hip-hop instrumental to carve her own lane and do what no one else in the scene is currently doing. Building a song over a well-known, relatable situation also does her no harm as other girls are sure to feel her pain... Damn, Jermaine.
