Proph Shows His Range In "Trust Fall" Video
South London's Proph continues his onslaught, though his latest drop "Trust Fall" shows a more vulnerable side than his most recent heaters.
Produced by Cass Love and Proph himself, the beat is a drum-less, acoustic guitar-led cut that invites Proph to switch his often forceful delivery for a melodic and gentle vocal performance. Swapping the harsh realities of South London living for the naked truths of his romantic endeavours with a girl unfamiliar with his environment, "Trust Fall" is a captivating listen thanks to its content as well as its construction.
Proph has been on a tear this year; cuts like "Grand National", "In Da House" and "Rap's Dead Freestyle" have made him one of 2023's best-kept secrets, but the strength of those singles, as well as his April-released project Lost In Translation, point to an even brighter future for the artist.
