Paul Stephan is back with a boxfresh banger, "Militant Mode".

It's been a busy year for Stephan who's knocked out a string of big singles this year (not to mention a show-stealing performance at TRENCH's SXSW takeover earlier in the summer).

The new single also sees him reconnect with producers BexBlu and Awaiting Kvng, the duo behind "Formations Of Lakes". It's a high-impact listen, using the contrast between the duo's piano-led, atmospheric instrumental and Stephan's punchy, self-assured rhymes to great effect.

On a similar tip is the video from director Dave Lunt who follows Stephan out into the great outdoors. Staring out into the lake with a leafy forest behind him, he delivers a measured, but by no means laid-back, treatise on the shortcomings of his rivals and his vision for the scene.
