Pa Salieu Shares Greyscale Visuals For Gripping Double Drop "Mista / Lennon Freestyle"

Pa Salieu offloads a few overbearing thoughts in his latest double release "Mista /Lennon Freestyle".

"Mista" kicks things off, driven by a foreboding bassline and African drums to supplement his impassioned delivery. He spits on the nefarious ways of the prosecution system, but remains steadfast in his refusal to fear what they throw his way.

For this one, he's posted up outside Warwickshire Justice Centre before stepping into a car for "Lennon Freestyle", a more calm and reflective moment. Over a looped vocal sample and a rap-leaning rhythm, he pulls his bars straight from his inner mind, speaking on the people he's lost and how he perseveres through many of life's troubles, remaining clean-hearted in the process.

"Mista / Lennon Freestyle" is a massive contrast to the energising cut "Blessing Me" with Mura Masa and Skillibeng, but it's a raw reflection of his shifting state of mind following the news of his removal from the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony, due to a "failed background check".
